Your safari begins with a morning departure from Arusha as you drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you will start a game drive across the park’s open savannah dotted with ancient baobab trees. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant population, and you may also see lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many bird species. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, making it a great place for game viewing. In the late afternoon, you will head to your lodge or camp for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
